Hideout (Launch)

Brand-New Core 6v6, Medium-Sized

Heirloom (Launch)

Brand-New, Strike, 2v2/6v6, Small-Sized

Crash a private art showing hosted by the Luttazzi family, where your mission is to create a diversion for the other Rogue Black Ops team executing the real job. Navigate through the main exhibit, dodging a huge sculptural centerpiece, or venture into the lobby and side exhibits for more intense, close-quarter combat. The cloakroom and light display offer prime spots to ambush enemies, but be careful—this art gallery isn’t just about stealth. If you can catch a breather, explore the vibrant history of Avalon’s Post-Expressionism and Minimalist art movements, adding a bit of culture to your chaos.

Extraction (Launch)

Brand-New Core 6v6, Medium-Sized

All hell has broken loose after a Crimson One ambush goes wrong in the aftermath of an attack on the Luttazzis. The downed helicopter and lifeless pilot signal chaos at the Avalon Heliport, a peaceful tourist destination offering stunning sky-high views of Avalon’s landscape. Now, it’s a battlefield.

Engage in long-range shots across the helipad, but watch out for those spinning rotors. If you prefer close combat, dive into the main lobby and warehouse for intense firefights. For the ultimate vantage point, the air traffic control tower offers unrivaled height, while a more discreet approach takes you under the landing deck for close-quarters combat near the water and loading docks. Whatever your strategy, this map gives you multiple paths to victory.

Hacienda (Mid-Season)

Remaster, Core 6v6, Medium-Sized

Last seen in Black Ops 4, the iconic Hacienda map returns, sending Operators back to the infamous vineyard estate. Engage in combat within the open-air, two-story mansion, offering breathtaking views of the pristine courtyard below. From the grand foyer, past the lion statue, you can head towards the showroom garage or venture out to the garden for an outdoor fight. On the opposite side of the estate, marvel at the built-in aquarium above the vault.

The grounds of Hacienda are just as stunning as its luxurious interior, featuring a boathouse and swimming area, a spacious patio to the north, and a wine shed and vineyard to the south. Long-range sightlines dominate the area, but the estate’s architectural features provide plenty of opportunities to close the gap for an up-close elimination.

Racket (Mid-Season)

Brand-New, Strike, 2v2/6v6, Small-Sized

It’s time to crack open the heart of the Luttazzi money laundering operation and hit them where it hurts the most. Infiltrate this small, underground bank vault, with a path marked by broken tiles leading up to the vault containing golden bars. Defaced art and the crossed-out emblem of the Luttazzi family serve as a reminder of their greed and malicious intent.

In combat, however, focus on the task at hand—keep your senses sharp and your head on a swivel as you navigate the map’s tight corners and enclosed spaces. Every turn could bring an ambush, so stay alert and ready to act quickly in this high-stakes underground battleground.

Nuketown Holiday (Mid-Season)

Variant, Core 6v6, Small-Sized

Once Season 01 Reloaded kicks off and Call of Duty gets into the festive spirit for the end-of-year celebrations, expect a variety of gifts in the lead-up to CODMAS! One of the highlights will be a Holiday-themed Nuketown map, bringing a wintery twist to the iconic battleground. Treyarch will also be adding some holiday cheer to the original Nuketown map with this update—and there might even be some festive touches to the Warhead Strike map too. Get ready for some seasonal fun and surprises!

Modes - Multiplayer

The season kicks off with a bang, introducing a brand-new Mode alongside a returning fan-favourite, setting the stage for an action-packed start. As the month progresses, get ready for an enhanced Ranked Play experience, bringing even more competitive excitement to Call of Duty.

New mode details

Ransack (Brand New, Launch)

"Ransack sees you looting gold bars from crates dotted around the area of operations on 6v6 maps. Once gathered, secure your loot by bringing it back to your team’s stash. Naturally, this collection needs to be well-guarded, as the enemy team can raid your stash, meaning cohesive tactical planning between looting and defending is the key to victory. Reach the score limit or the time limit with the most gold and your team wins. "

Prop Hunt (In-Season)

"Prepare for an infamous game of hide-and-seek, as the fan-favorite Black Ops party mode is back! Drop into a Multiplayer map as a Prop or Hunter. Props have one job; after a short period of time to find a hiding spot, you need to blend into the landscape as a random scenic object, but with the ability to move… and uncontrollably whistle every 30 seconds. Just wait out the clock, and don’t attract the attention of any Hunters, or the jig is up!

Drop identical decoys to fool your foes, change shape to a different piece of scenery, or lob a Stun Grenade at the feet of a Hunter if your cover is about to be blown. Meanwhile, the Hunters are here to scrutinize the map for anything that looks out of place… or whistles… and then shoot it!"

New Loadout Content

Enhance your tactical gameplay with new additions coming to Multiplayer throughout Season 01! Look out for two new Perks, a new Wildcard, and an exciting Scorestreak to add more depth and strategy to your loadouts. These new tools will give you even more ways to outsmart your opponents and dominate the battlefield. Stay tuned for the full details on how these additions will shake up your approach to combat!

New loadout details

New Perk: Shadow (Launch)

"Undetectable to enemy traps and mines."

New Perk: Shrapnel Radar (Mid-Season)

"Dealing blast damage to enemies will reveal them on your mini-map. This includes any enemies affected by your area-of-effect Tactical's, Lethals, and Field Upgrades."

New Scorestreak/Support: Hand Cannon (MP, ZM, Launch)

"Powerful large caliber handgun with high bullet damage and penetration.

This mid-level Scorestreak, last seen in Black Ops Cold War, allows players to equip a massively powerful handgun for a finite amount of time. Though it has a slow rate of fire and limited ammunition, it makes up for this with good handling, improved hip fire accuracy with faster hip-fire shooting speed, and the biggest bonus of all; high-penetration shots that can one-shot enemies."

New Wildcard: High Roller (Mid-Season)

"When equipped, this allows the player to have a fourth Scorestreak to earn toward during Core 6v6 Multiplayer matches. Might we suggest pairing it with the Hand Cannon?"

Black Ops 6 Ranked Play

The definitive Ranked Play experience that Treyarch has been working towards since Call of Duty: Vanguard—and continuing through Modern Warfare® II and Modern Warfare III—is finally arriving in Season 01, starting on November 21. Get ready for a competitive experience like never before. A full rules breakdown will be available in the Black Ops 6 Patch Notes, so stay tuned for all the details leading up to the Ranked Play launch!

The core tenets of Ranked Play remain unchanged in Black Ops 6, with competitive Multiplayer matches adhering to the same settings, maps, modes, and weapon restrictions as the Call of Duty® League™. However, there are several streamlined features, innovations, and updates that enhance the experience:

Ranked Play Access Update:

To ensure all players have the necessary Multiplayer experience before diving into Ranked Play, players must earn 50 Wins in Matchmade Multiplayer games to unlock access to Black Ops 6 Ranked Play. Wins before Season 1 count towards this total, so if you’ve already reached 50 wins, you’ll be all set when Ranked Play goes live on November 21. The previous Level 55 requirement has been removed.

Updated Rank System:

The previous 1-50 Rank and Skill Division system has been combined to focus purely on skill progression. In Black Ops 6, your Rank represents what was previously your Skill Division and Tier. You’ll progress through 8 ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent, and Top 250. The Progressive Rank and Victory Stars system has been removed to streamline the experience and put a stronger emphasis on skill-based ranking.

SR (Skill Rating):

SR is earned by winning Ranked Play matches, with the amount of SR gained based on factors like your distance from your projected Rank, your performance in the match, and the margin of victory. SR is deducted for losses, encouraging players to constantly improve their gameplay to move up the ranks.

New Feature: Map & Mode Veto:

In Ranked Play, before each match, players will be presented with three map and mode combinations in the lobby. Both teams can vote to veto one of the options, giving players more control over what they play. The remaining option is selected after both teams make their veto picks. If both teams veto the same option, the map/mode is randomly selected from the remaining two.

New Feature: Forfeit:

If your team is getting overrun or has lost a teammate, you can now vote to forfeit the match. All players in the team must agree for the forfeit to be accepted. Forfeiting results in a standard loss but does not cause any SR penalties or suspensions. Forfeit is available at the following points in each mode:

  • Hardpoint: After the winning team reaches 100 points
  • Control: After the first round
  • Search & Destroy: After the third round
Party Skill Restriction Update:

Full parties of four can now play together in Ranked Play, regardless of their individual Ranks. However, matchmaking will be based on the highest Rank in the party. Parties of two or three players still face skill restrictions.

Seasonal Setback Update:

The Seasonal Setback has been adjusted to reduce the impact on players early in their Rank journey. Every new season, your Rank may reset based on your performance in the previous season:

  • Bronze or Silver players won’t experience a setback and can continue from where they left off.
  • Gold or Platinum players will start the new season in Tier I of their current Rank.
  • Diamond and above players will start at Diamond I.
Loss Forgiveness Update:

Each player’s first loss of the day is forgiven, meaning no SR will be deducted for that loss. Additionally, the three games of Loss Forgiveness granted when promoted to a new Rank or at the start of the season now only apply to losses—not to games played after promotion.

Ranked Play Rewards

Black Ops 6 Ranked Play offers an exciting array of exclusive rewards to showcase your competitive skill and commitment. Here’s a breakdown of the various rewards you can earn throughout the season:

Rank Skins:
  • Gold Rank and Above: Achieve Gold Rank or higher to earn exclusive Home (Rogue Black Ops) and Away (Crimson One) Ranked Skins for your Operator, Competitor.
  • These skins are awarded immediately upon reaching the Rank, unlike previous seasons where rewards were given at the end of the season.
  • The Top 250 Skin is the ultimate prize, only awarded to players who finish the season in the Top 250 on the Ranked Play leaderboard.
Win Challenges:
  • Throughout your Ranked Play career, you’ll earn rewards based on Career Win milestones. These can include:
    • Ranked Competitor Skin
    • Knife Blueprint
    • Frag Grenade Skin
    • Gunscreen that tracks your Ranked Play wins
    • These challenges can be completed across multiple seasons, giving you incentives to keep progressing.
Top 250 Competitor and Champion Skins:
  • Top 250 Competitor: Finish in the Top 250 for the season to earn the prestigious Top 250 Competitor Skin (Home and Away versions).
  • Top 250 Champion: Finishing in 1st place on the Top 250 leaderboard earns you the Top 250 Champion Skin, an exclusive and highly coveted Operator skin featuring a fiery skull-head Operator with a glowing crown.
  • These skins are considered some of the most exclusive rewards in Call of Duty, representing the pinnacle of Ranked Play achievement.
Seasonal Rewards:
  • Each Ranked Play Season introduces a fresh set of Rank Rewards and Win Challenge Rewards.
    • These rewards are only available to earn during the specific season they’re introduced, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to the season’s offerings.
    • Rank Skins and other rewards are awarded when you’re promoted into a new rank, rather than waiting until the season’s end.
New Feature: Weapon Builds:
  • Weapon Builds you create in Ranked Play are now shareable across other modes, including MultiplayerZombies, and Call of Duty: Warzone. This integration allows you to easily bring over custom loadouts, providing more flexibility across different game modes.
  • You can also bring builds created outside of Ranked Play into Ranked (subject to restrictions).

These rewards and features make Ranked Play not only a competitive environment but also a way to unlock exclusive cosmetics and items that set you apart in the game. Whether you’re striving for the Top 250 Champion Skin or completing Win ChallengesBlack Ops 6 ensures that your hard-earned victories are well-rewarded.
